candied sap trickles from tongue
diffident lips gently parting
i’m teased by the sun
molten, golden
drips forth a dulcet delirium
.
an epicentre of entanglement
begins with you
radiating out, web strands soused with dew
insect shells, hollowed, glisten
wreath of wings, behold, frisson
.
perhaps a state of langour
teased by dissonant breeze
vacant exoskeleton
cell coffin of could be’s
perhaps a chrysalis dormant
wings moist with vestigial fold
preparing to unfurl, unveil`
our desirous destiny untold
Words drip like dew drops from your deft pen, Lady D! Your thoughts are so well worded, yet preserving the tender essence of poetry and communicating the meaning to your audience. Your talent is unparalleled, unmatched, unique! β€π

Thank you for your exquisitely worded…ever humbling appreciation dear Isha! In this piece I was contemplating the web of personal entanglements: sometimes we are fed upon and left as remnants …. but we flew directly into the tantalizing, hypnotic pattern!
Sometimes we hang hoping for an unexpected burst of butterfly possibilities!

Hi Charlie … your poetry is way to out there for me … π For some readers we might need assistance in the interpretation…. Although I love reading ” βTwas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.” out loud lol

I try to assist my readers with interesting interpretations of my work.
I do understand that is way out there. That’s how I love to communicate with my way of poetry. I’ve tried the other way, and it just doesn’t speak to me.
Thank you, Diana for giving my work a chance. Stay tune for my next poem. π
