i have discovered my difficulty
with reading you
for I am a writer
intently gripping the quill
and despite your florid attempts
you cannot alter the will
of my cursive compulsions to beguile
frequent attempts are made
to enter the frantic foray of your words
my inner computer jumbles with errant code
and with no service centre to call
Β a hyperkinetic cursor marks my disquieted mode
for I am a writer
curl your fingers by my pages
gorge full the entrancing phrases…
now enlightened with my intentions
i revel in my frantic detentions
auguring your
ambrosial
attentions
Spectacular!! I love the imagery in this!

Dear Daffni! So, so nice to hear from you. I am a billion years behind on your blog as I’m beginning to think I am more of a winter WP fiend … now that the days are longer and brighter I am outdoors all the time gathering inspiration and such. Hope you are well … β€

I think it’s time to reveal to you that I have multiple personalities …. the author of this poem is unavailable now … you have to contend with me: the blushing, humbled version that is so very grateful for your amazing compliment.
Truly ….. β€

Haha! I think you’d revealed your personalities to me quite some time ago, which is why it is so fascinating to see how the silly, humorous you, can write something so eggselently profound πππβ€

sorry not familiar with the word ‘auguring’ and google answer isn’t making much senseπ

Thanks for asking Nancy! In the last paragraph I am saying “hey, now you know I dig writing, and I’ll shut myself away to write … thinking that you have no choice but to read me” … because I am a selfish writer haha. So auguring means a prediction π

I still canβt figure out the notifications … you show up on my reader feed but I worry I miss you as Iβm not on WP as often as before … just means Iβll have some catching up to do from time to time. Iβm assuming your studies have kept you away.

studies is a sore sybject right now in my life. I couldn’t have been more bored coz of it. My exams started from 20 th April and will end on 6 June. These examiners think we have no life. Am dying to get a holidayπ
And well too reasons kept me away from Wattpad – one is exams other is I am unable to write. It’s like words arn’t flowing as they used to and I have no mood to think and write something where my soul isn’t.
So basically yoy rarely missed anything of mine hut I surely must have missed alot of posts written by you. Hopefully after exams I ll get to read themβ₯οΈ

Hang in there!

It is a strange word, and because I thought she’d written this for the flowers, I pictured the writers energy piercing the petals of the flowers, the two becoming an ambrosia of smells and tastes.
But she could have written this to every reader who comes across it, the introduction, the inviting, and the challenge.

I read the three previous and wondered if you select a theme, and then write. Or if you attach the pictogram after the thoughts?
I liked the three of them better, and for each, a different reason.
You could fill a book with your followers, so I’ll meander quietly through others until perhaps, I will become one.
And this has been a productive year for you as well, so I’m sure it will take me some time. Thanks for the welcome, and I’m betting the pleasure will be mine.

Such a lovely comment to read and I truly appreciate your time this evening!
I shall be checking in on your writing in the next few days π
To answer your query…Iβve never written from an image first, or at least image inspired. I draw upon my imagination and write…sometimes have difficulty finding a picture to match. Iβve been known to take pictures of books, and windows etc after a poem is finished. That might look odd to any onlooker. π

It might, because they don’t know you’re just dressing it. namkcorb@wordpress.com
(irevuo) Cristian Mihai suggested pictures with the posts and I started doing that about 60 pages ago.
But I like challenges too, and wrote two for Sara in lalaland off the prompts ‘the light’ and ‘the key’. Stay dry, stay warm, selfish writer.

I’m hoping there was a curtsy and a bow with that farewell, because sir exemplifies goodbye. And I’m feeling ageism oppressing me right now.
Okay, I took a breath, I feel better. I was going to tell you that in my story 2012 I had reached an impasse of where to go, as the last 50 pages have been a daily write, this past couple of months. And no shit, I was picturing a girl who looked a lot like you to become the stories Penelope. But then I needed the picture of the brown tank-top clad gal, and I hadn’t met you yet. I’m not going to cut her hair or change anything, but I like your hair the way it’s displayed. At least she has your smile.
