what is it that makes me want to disrupt dandelions?
scatter congregates of delicate
into frantic disarray
just to see where theyβll lay
.
i have wild silver in my veins
scorched sublingual stains
i am an errant child grown
into a childlike woman
defining my own
..
the script of my life
shall be scrawled with charcoal tip
and when expunged
by the torrents of time
carbon ash, crumbled, finally freed
buoyant, in breeze swirling
with dandelion seed
Beautiful

Dear Pete… so grateful for such positive words! Iβm sure if we were hanging out as children we would have laughed and run amok amongst the dandelions ππ

Beautiful with a lot of delicate that you infuse it with as always!
What is more beautiful then, Us with our delicate threads of definitions bound to the core or Us when we allow the threads to freely fly into the expanse, as if our essence pervading into the Universe?
Beautiful space I am immersed in with your poetry …

I love those last lines. The bittersweet image of ash floating through the breeze mixed with the seeds of future life is beautiful, if maybe a little morbid. Then again it wouldn’t be your gorgeous style without it. ππ

Beautiful, almost Buddhist in perspective. A wonderful testament on how to truly live… to just be dissolved into the natural world.

You start with a simple thought and build it to magnanimous proportions here, making it something beyond poetry! So rich in its expression, such well woven imagery as usual, evoking multifarious thoughts! Claps for you my dearest friend π

Beautiful. You are an errant child at heart grown into a childlike woman. Never lose that feeling. I have always been intrigued by the dandelions, their flight in the air and you have knitted that feeling along with your desires so beautifully. Love you, my friend. Happy weekend!

You started with a thought so wandering yet so inviting for you to bring yourself in question, how you have lived, probably proud or probably vacillating….yet you attain an immortality with the carbon ash from your chapters of life flowing and settling into every particle of this existence, patching the hearts of the ones you laugh with…. π
I loved how you have have spinned three different scenes, thoughts together. The last stanza is mind blowing , the closure was exceptional and a surprise for me.
Immortality is not to breathe forever. It is to live forever .In memories. And yours is safe with me…. β€ β€ β€

In a year of writing this blog, I have had the fortune of both kind and thought provoking comments and Iβm ever grateful. The support of strangers who fast become friends.
And tonight, with you … something I shall always remember. How easily your last paragraph brings me to tears! Itβs one of the most moving things anyone has ever said to me and I shall not forget that it was you, sweet Shefali, who spoke it ….. β€οΈβ€οΈ
