Paradise

how can i talk of the night

when you blind me with moon

and star pierce my sight

when you tarnish my gaze

with firefly bright

an erratic flicker

pinpricks of light

..

Enchanted

..

how can you tempt with diffident day

soft sunshine sojourn; shadows will sway

in promise of heat, dare you take me away?

..

dreaming

..

of sand and temptation in turquoise seas

our luxuriant skin

under tropical trees

      1. I’ve discovered I would have to give up my day job to be able to venture as I’d like to in the blogosphere. The best I can humanly manage is visiting a core of authors that β€œspeak to me” …. the inner circle of wonders.
That’s where I find you lovely lady! πŸ˜ŒπŸŒΉπŸ’•

    1. Isha, ever kind; ever attentive! Your words are sunshine laced and grace my page with enduring warmth. No sunscreen needed! The picture was taken in Cuba where the sun was almost as warm as your compliments! Thank you dear lady! πŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ 🏝❀️

    1. Oh how I grinned at this comment; I had an image of you with bib on and my words a succulent King Crab dipped in molten butter. Juicy and to your taste …. unless you prefer lobster! Coming right up πŸ˜‰πŸ’•

  3. Beautiful transporting poetry, a feat achieved by you effortlessly. I say effortlessly because the lines just flow, there is no trace of a break or any form of pause, definitely from paradise.
