  1. That’s a beautiful photo. I love the colours, how they pop and are so contrasting between the sea and the rocks. It gives an otherworldly feel to the water, which suits the poem perfectly. And how much shall I say about your writing, I wonder πŸ˜…. It’s sublime, you built a lovely rhythm giving an almost playful tone. I can picture the mer-folk and their distressed landlubber swimming together at the surface, but when it comes to go deeper the two become separated, forever destined to be apart. It’s a brilliant description and conveys the emotions of the moment wonderfully in your own always beautiful style. I love it more and more the more I think about it. πŸ’š

    1. Dear Mr P.Irishdreamwalker,
Quite the mouthful πŸ˜‰ yet I should address you with the respect that so befits you and your mellifluous words. And wow, upon wow …. you appear, shower me with such kind opinions then off you slip, almost like the creature dissolving into my ocean. How grateful I am to you ❀️

The picture was taken not far from Sydney, in the sweet land of my birth. You are a bonza mate, as we say down there. Have a fabulous week πŸ€—πŸ’•πŸ˜Ž

    1. Sweet Isha, this was just a little rhyme that passed easily from breezy afternoon thoughts like a tumble weed in a desert town. I sat, fired up the laptop and β€œtap tap”with a smile on my face.
β€œsea-nic” is so clever …. how I appreciate you and your innovative, bright thoughts!! πŸ’ŸπŸ’ŸπŸŒ·πŸŒ·

      1. It’s quite eerie. You remind me of a woman who passed away in February on WP. So there is a beautiful familiarity of her. But you are she to the power of three 😊 Which is to say you are you, all mysterious and fabulous… and perhaps of British descent? The word β€œcheeky”?

      2. I am British, yes. With Mediterranean heritage… I’m sorry to hear about that.. but glad I can remind of her if that brings you happiness πŸ’œ
And you? Where are you from?

I ❀️ Brits, (especially eloquent ones) let’s get that out of the way, right away!
I’m Australian by birth, Mediterranean blood, planted in Canada …. which means I should be sleeping, but… life is too short for sound sleeping and the drudgery of regular hours.

Well, I have always had a connection with Aussies,I seem to stumble across them at important points in my life, and I think (aside from Iceland) I would be right at home in Canada!
Which part of the Mediterranean flows through you?
        Did I say how happy I am that we’ve connected? I am..😍

Canada is exquisite. Come for a holiday, end up staying 18 yrs lol.

I’m a little (fiery) Italiano and a little (hot headed) Croatian! Though we can’t stereotype. But you might be Italian if you are Fiery!?

I’m happy too to meet you ! 😍

  5. How we find different analogies to recite this love and longing that it always feels so fresh to love and to be in love….

I feel my heart beat little accelerated and that is when I know I witness something different about something very unusually usual — LOVE!
