perhaps
I did walk a mile in your shoes
borrowed as you slept
your soles
mine to peruse
finding a hole
in my argument
and blistered egos
like the chafed, constricted toes
of this awkwardly penned prose
perhaps
I did lay open your words
splaying book spine
cracking
a page at a time
hearing what you said
not what you meant
now only to lament
the denied comprehension
that invites a heart’s dissention
clutching the diary
Β you left behind
aah such a genuine evocation of longing…amazing β€

What a truly nice thing to say Daffni! Sometimes I go back and do a similar thing on some of the older ones and find some new flavour – I guess subconsciously a writer throws a lot into the word bucket. And swirls it about!

Can I ask where is your Lost soul? π I just happened to read your conversations with Priya on her blog Liebster Awards as your comment was just below me and her reply to your comment followed (I follow her and her writings are so serene and noble and yours too). You both shower so much of love on each other. I have never seen two people showering so much love on each other. And I always believed two girls affection and love for each other is the most pure and noble love on the planet. As, I have seen my sisters’ love for each other. But love, respect and affection you both have for each other is some form of Magic of Magical.
TOUCHWOOD. TOUCHWOOD. TOUCHWOOD. And I did touch the wood while typing as some preach that we should touch the wood while we say touchwood.

Many common points we have.
~ I was also imclined to her since beginning. She touches even the deepest of soul even by her words (Imagine how much loved she will make you feel if you visit her in her hometown – Chandigarh, India) I want you to visit her someday soon if you have few luxuries. Time the most important among them and then money. I need not ask you about intent and willingness. I can bet you have that even in your dreams. She will feel so so so so happy if you visit her. She will make you roam every street of Chandigarh. It is a lovely city with the most “Liveliest people of the world (PUNJABIS) “. Punjabis mostly belong to Sikh religion (I am not trying to differentiate people between religion and I never do that, but trust me Punjabis are free spirited and if you become a friend with any Punjabi, they will be your friend till death. I can assure that albeit there are always few exceptions in everything). Make Priya haapy anyway you can. She deserves so much of happiness, every happines she craves, she deserve it. She is soooooo pure.
~ I have 4 sisters and 1 brother (all 4 sisters are married now. I miss them badly now and every moment I spent with them in childhood. We were grown up by our parents in such a beautiful way like example, my dad used to bring one big steel box of Britannia cream biscuits. Every morning before going to school, either of my parent used to give 1 biscuit to each 6 of us. No one will ever get 2. 1 means 1. We never even used to complain or ask for 2. We were raised in such a disciplined way sincethe time I know. And during summers, it is mango season and dad used to bring mango. One mango was sliced everyday for us 6. Each one of us will get 1 slice each. And the hard thing which a mango has in centre (I can’t remember what they call it in English, in Hindi we call it “Gutli” haha, it is a very famous term and very craved part of mango to eat by everyone, the flavour of mango left on exterior part of it is love π) So Gutli anyone of us used to have randomly, as I was youngest my siblings used to give me that most of the times π We were taught to share things by this.
~ Priya deserves every good thing of the world and everything she desires, wishes, prays, craves and even something she forgot to wish or pray.
~ And getting out of control is a sign that how comfortable you feel talking to each other. That’s the best sign.
~ And yeah, even I laughed while reading, you both are bound to laugh crazily while typing.
Beware while talking to her while walking on the streets? You know why? Because you cannot control your laugh while you talk to her and people sees you laughing so crazily haha (Just intended as a joke on a lighter note haha)
~ Yeah, I love when I come across people like you two. You both are soooo good human beings and I am not lying even the single word I said. These are all my heartfelt emtions!!
I hope your friendship with Priya grows in leaps and bounds every passing seconds and remain friends for life till death. God Bless two Beautiful and most Compassionate Souls π

This is such a delightful post to read Sachin. I canβt wait for Priya to eventually see it.
And thank you for educating me about the Punjabi people and Chandigarh. Very interesting for me as your country is large and diverse.

Awwww thank you so so very much for calling my heart eloquent. That is the biggest of the compliments I ever got and most important part is coming from someone who means every single word she says. I am elated that you feel such.
Yeah, I find the Punjabis as the best humans across the planet. They are pure to the core. So pure and honest. And yes, our country is very diverse. If you travel from one state of India to another state of India, you will feel like you are in some other country because customs, traditions, religions and even languages are also different in every state. We have 36 different states (if we include 7 Union Territories as well). And you must plan to visit India sometime soon, the country is soooo beautiful. It will be a whole new experience for you. After visiting India, after you fly back to your country, you will realise that you hav left some part of your heart in India. You would miss so many wonderful and unforgettable memories you would have made during your visit to India. If you ever happen to visit, visit when you have sufficient time. Don’t come in haste as there are so many unique places to visit in India. I will be glad if you would love your visit to India.
Thank you so much for all the lovely words you said. Your words touched my heart in big time, in no time!!

You are welcome, Sachin, and deseve more positive words even!
I love the pride and warmth you have for your country, your home. I have two close friends who when asked to name their favourite vacation (ever), both said India. For the culture, vivid colour and rich experiences. I always thought I would be fearful to travel alone to such a populated place, but you are such a great advocate for your land. How could I stay away, when some of the most special people I have met online are from India!
In truth, I believe that the spiritual heart of the earth beats in India xxx

Thank you so much for your kind words for me.
TRUE. TRUE. TRUE. YOU DESCRIBED INDIA TRULY BY CALLING IT AS “SPIRITUAL HEART OF THE EARTH”. Not even Indians could describe India in such great way. Wowwwww. I loved it. Now I feel to write a “book on India” someday, if I happen to write that, it would be named “Spiritual Heart of Earth” and the one who gave this name to India it for the time time will get a big mention in the “Foreword of the book” π I do mean everything I say. I would write for my satisfaction and for the pride I have for my country!!
