Your fields are monochrome faded
Blades of grass bleached by your treacherous bent
Paled petals loosened
Brittle branches fallen
Your fires have scorched the trees
Perilous gusts fanning
Rabbits tossed against barbed wire
Frenzied,wide eyed
Precious little can grow in your toxic soils
Where once I walked
Barefoot
Oh… Wow!… incredible use of alliteration… horrifying description of nature lost.. then personalizing with last line… power hour moments..throughout … made me gasp….

Honestly I couldn’t pay you to say nicer things (although I have a blank cheque here with your name on it, ready to send….). Thanks for making my day!
